ELEMENT COMPUTERSTM DOES NOT OUTSOURCE TECHNICAL SUPPORT. Element ComputersTM provides technical support in-house for all Element ComputersTM Desktop & Notebook computers. When you call Element ComputersTM for technical support, chances are that you will be helped by the very person that built your system. We believe in providing the best support possible for all of our customers, and handle each call with personal care. For technical support issues on Element ComputersTM Desktop or Notebook computers, please contact us at (805)524-1010. Support is available weekdays from 11AM until 9PM and Saturdays from 12PM to 7PM, Pacific Standard Time. Please note that in most cases, Element ComputersTM does not offer technical support for other manufacturer’s products. Please direct your technical questions to the product manufacturers. Contact information for your product’s manufacturer should be included within the original documentation provided within the packaging or on the box of the item you purchased. WARRANTY INFORMATION Desktop Computers All Element ComputersTM Desktop Towers are warranted for a two year period. The warranty coverage includes parts and labor, and technical support for original hardware. Parts included in this warranty are: Motherboard, CPU, CPU Cooler, Memory, Drives, Video Card, PCI cards, Power Supply, and Fans purchased as a ‘Computer System’ under one invoice/order from Element ComputersTM. Should you encounter a serious problem related to a hardware failure in your system that cannot be solved over the phone with Element ComputersTM, pick up and delivery is available*. Any hardware modifications made to the computer system performed other than by Element ComputersTM will void this warranty. During the 2 year warranty period, free installation will be provided on hardware upgrades for this system, provided the hardware was purchased at Element ComputersTM. Accessories purchased with an Element ComputersTM Desktop The Element ComputersTM Desktop warranty applies only to the Desktop Tower, and not any peripheral devices purchased at the same time. Products listed on the same invoice (including but not limited to: Monitors, speakers, networking, surge protectors, Mice or keyboards.) are covered under the respective manufacturer’s warranty. If you have any questions on how to expedite manufacturer’s warranties, please see original documentation included with the product, the manufacturer’s warranty, or call Element ComputersTM for assistance. Notebooks All Element ComputersTM Notebook computers are warranted for a one year period. The warranty coverage includes parts and labor, and technical support for original hardware. Extended notebook warranties may also be available through the manufacturer. Please ask for details at the time of purchase. Notebooks need to be handled with great care. Please never leave your power cord plugged in while the notebook is in its case or while transporting the notebook. Broken power cord jacks are seldom covered under manufacturer’s warranties, and in most cases are not covered under your Element ComputersTM notebook warranty. Exclusions from Warranty Element ComputersTM cannot be held responsible for warranty repairs on misused or abused equipment. Should damage occur due to improper installation of parts, software or other action by the customer, repair under warranty will not be authorized. Element ComputersTM will similarly not authorize warranty repairs to equipment damaged by power surges, or caused by external wiring. It is the customer’s responsibility to use a surge protected power source for the computer system at all times. Element ComputersTM is not responsible for loss or Damage caused by fire, theft, testing or any other causes beyond control. Element ComputersTM is in no way responsible for repairs due to any Virus, Spyware, Malware or any other related malicious program you may encounter. If your computer suffers damages from any malicious program, it is not covered under your warranty. Element ComputersTM recommends using proper virus protection, but no protection is 100% guaranteed. Element ComputersTM is not responsible for any issues with virus protection software that you request us to install on your computer. Loss of Data Element ComputersTM cannot be held responsible for any electronic data lost due to virus infection, hardware failure or electrical failure. Element ComputersTM will use every resource possible to avoid loss of data during repair services; however it is the customer’s responsibility to back up all important data prior to requesting services by Element ComputersTM. Please back up your system regularly, and before requesting repair work. Element ComputersTM cannot be held responsible for any data sent to us on repair or upgrade orders. *For a minimal charge. ** Changing the motherboard or case will void the technical support services unless purchased and installed through Element ComputersTM.
